Admission Process

Shah Lalji Academy welcomes students from all backgrounds, offering:

Nursery & Junior School: Ages 2 to 11 years
Senior School: Ages up to 18 years

Admission Steps

Assessment Test:

Required for Junior and Senior School applicants.

Admission Form:

Complete after assessment.

Informal Visit:

Recommended to meet with the Headteacher or Admissions Office.

Oral Interview:

Final admission is contingent on an interview with the Headteacher.

Confirmation:

Upon successful admission, a letter from the Administrator will confirm placement and start date.

Enrollment Timing

While the academic year begins in September, students may join at any time during the year.

Waiting Lists

If a year group is full, applicants will be placed on a waiting list, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Siblings of current students may be given priority.

Supporting Documents Required

Copy of passport or birth certificate
Previous two academic reports
Leaving certificate from the previous school
Parent’s passport photo and ID or passport copy

Siblings

Siblings of current students receive priority for admissions when waitlists are active.
A 10% tuition fee discount is available for siblings.

Leaving the School

One term’s written notice to the Headteacher is required. If notice is not provided, caution money will be retained in lieu of notice.

Fees Payment Policies

New Parents: Admission is granted only upon full payment of fees.
Returning Parents: Fees must be paid in full by the first week of the school term.
Payment Methods: All payments are to be made via bank or the school’s Paybill.
Fee Adjustments: The Board of Directors reserves the right to adjust fees annually or as directed.
